> UPDATE: I moved to a new place and had the chance to acquire more room to expand my modeling workbench area! So, after a quick plan sketch, off to Home Depot I went and then built a larger wheeled work table with some extra storage shelves underneath. The new desk was measured out to host a brand new high-quality, filtering Airbrush Spray Booth and provide for an overall slightly larger work area. Which of course required the purchase of even more paints and supplies, naturally!

UPDATE: I recently purchased a new modeling visor as well. I liked my original OptiVisor, but found I needed a head lamp as well (old age sucks). So I found this on Amazon and bought it, a Carson Optical Pro Series MagniVisor Deluxe Head-Worn LED Lighted Magnifier with 4 Different Lenses (1.5X, 2X, 2.5X, 3X) . It is not as comfortable as the OptiVisor when worn for extended periods of time, but the head lamp is most helpful.
I model and paint with a OptiVisor. I use a wide variety of paint supplies; Privateer Press P3 Formula, LifeColor, AK Interactive, MIG, Tamiya (my normal go-to paints), Vajello, WarPainter, Mr. Hobby (My favorite paints), 502 Abteilung Oils, and Mission Models. I have found Mr. Hobby's Lacquer paints to be the best overall.
UPDATE: I recently purchased a new airbrush as well. I needed a finer detail work gun, so I purchased the Mr. Hobby PROCON Platinum 0.2mm Double Action from Mr. Spraygunner and I love the thing. It is so much better than my Iwata 0.3mm. The control is amazing and it handles great.
My original airbrush: Iwata-Medea High Performance Plus C Dual Action/Large Gravity Feed Cup airbrush connected to an Iwata Smart Jet Pro Airbrush Compressor. I use quick connectors to switch out the airbrush hoses as needed.
> ORIGINAL POST: Before the fun modeling & painting can begin...I built my own Work Bench/Desk. I had a general idea of what I wanted and sketched out a quick plan of attack. A trip to the Home Depot and all the wood/parts purchased. Computer monitor is swivel-mounted. 4 different lighting options help illuminate my modeling activity.
